Going to Iowa Western Community College with hopes of transferring to UCF.
Woods rushed for 95 yards on 11 carries during his senior year. He caught 49 passes for 807 yards. The senior scored 10 total touchdowns on the year.
First Team All-County WR 2008, FSWA All-State Second Team WR 5A
Woods was key component to Lake Gibson’s offense last season, finishing with 40 catches for 786 yards, with 10 scores, and a rushing TD on a 10 yard reverse. Leon was also a threat on special teams returning two kick-offs for scores including a 96-yarder, and scored on a punt return. In route to being named First team All County and Third Team All State. |
