| 2008: The son of Florida State O-Line coach Rick Trickett, Clint finished his junior season with a 68-percent completion percentage, 2,800 yards passing, 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also rushed for 400 yards and five touchdowns. FSWA 1A/1B All-State First Team Athlete. All-Big Bend Fist Team Offense (QB). He says he can bench 275-pounds, squat 355 and has a 32-inch vertical jump.
Trickett plans to major in business and reports a 3.8 core GPA and a 1150 two-part SAT.
Trickett: “I’d say I’m a good leader. I’m also very accurate. I’m a pro-style quarterback, but can take off and run when I need to. I’m not Pat White or anything, but I’m decently athletic.
“A lot of people have said my arm isn’t strong enough, so I’m set to prove them wrong. I’m working on improving my arm strength and you can really never stop learning and getting better.”
