2008 USF: Enters spring as a top back-up on the two-deep depth chart.
2007 USF: Utilized a redshirt season.
Fort meyers High school:Second team all-state in Class 5A. First team all-district and all-conference. MVP of Lee County North-South All-Star Game. Had 12 interceptions (231 yards) with four touchdowns, to go with 57 tackles, one fumble recovery and 11 passes defended in 2006, including five games with two interceptions in each. Had two interceptions for touchdowns (both for 33 yards) against Cape Coral Baker. Caught a 53-yard TD pass and returned an interception for a 45-yard TD against Cape Coral Mariner. Had 20-yard interception return for a TD against Charlotte High.. On Offense he had 26 receptions for 474 yards with five touchdowns. Had 40-yard TD catch in Class 5A Region Final against Bradenton Manatee. Also played basketball and ran track. Washington is another hidden gem in this year’s class, Washington quietly committed to the Bulls early in the season before putting up huge offensive and defensive numbers, therefore is a bit underrated. With his speed, an ball hawing qualities, should make an impact with the Bull, if not this year then next. |
