2007 USF: Was a terror on the field finishing with 31.5 tackles for a loss, a new Big East record and just half a TFL shy of the NCAA record of 32. His 14.5 sacks is 2nd in the nation and his 3 forced fumbles led the Big East. Selvie finished with 58 tackles, 46 of them solo, 12 quarterback hits and 1 blocked kick on the season. Selvie who has 25 straight career starts, racked up post season awards including a consensus first team All-American, with first team accolades from SI.com, AP, AFCA, FWAA, CBS, and won the Bill Willis Trophy, for the nation's top defensive end. And the USF Defensive MVP Award.
2007 USF spring: Selvie is entrenched as a starter, had a great spring and the Bulls are looking for him to build off of last year and exspect big things from the sophomore in 2007.
2006 USF: Named a Sporting News All-American, to the BIG EAST All-freshmen team, and was voted the USFNation Defensive Breakout Player of the year. He ended the season leading all linemen with 84 total tackles, 15 tackles for a combined loss of 56 yards, 5.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and perhaps the most significant fumble recovery in Bulls’ history. This came during the Bulls’ 24-19 upset win at West Virginia. With USF trailing 6-0 early on in the second quarter, Chris Robinson stripped Pat White of the ball. Selvie picked up the fumble with ease and strolled into the end zone for his first career touchdown to put the Bulls in front 7-6.
2005 USF: He saw action in the season opener at Penn State. Then redhirted the season, and Won USF’s Overachiever Award for his outstanding work in strength and conditioning program.

PINE FORREST HIGH SCHOOL - In his senior year he had 55 tackles and six sacks. He was Class 3A second team all-state, and named a Super Senior by the Pensacola News Journal, and was an Emerald Coast all-star. He was also involved with weight lifting. |
