| Biography: |
2007 USF: Started all 12 games this season. Started at left guard in opener then switched to center when Capoga was injured. Griffin was graded at 76% with 59 Knockdowns, and was named the Bulls OUTSTANDING OFFENSIVE LINEMAN.
2006 USF: Won starting guard spot and started first three games, but a broken foot at UCF kept him out of the lineup for the next six games. Returned and got some playing time in each of final four games, including the Papajohns.com Bowl.
2006(Spring) Had a good spring getting a look at center, and at guard, he has good size and versatility, and will head into the summer playing multiple positions on the line.
2005 USF: He saw action in all 11 games on the season, seeing most extensive duty on field goal and PAT protection
2004 USF: He was a redshirt freshmen during the season.
Armwood HS: At 6-4, 300lbs is extremly mobile and athletic. He was Class 4A all-state, All-Western Conference, all-county and a member of the Times all-Suncoast team. He was named top offensive lineman in Hillsborough County and won the Jimbo Kynes Award. He was ranked sixth in Tampa bay area by the St. Petersburg Times, fourth best offensive guard prospect in the state by the Florida Times Union, 39th best prospect in florida by The Tampa Tribune and 67th by the Orlando Sentinel. He was also a Wendy's Heisman Nominee and earned the Orange Bowl Academic Award. He also paved the way for three 1,00 yard rushers for state champion Armwood High in 2003
