2007: Played in all 13 games recording 22 catches for 231 yards and a score. Also served as the primary punt returner with 31 punt returns for a 7.5 avg.
2006: Started 12 of 13 games and finished third on the team with 27 receptions (328 yards) with two touchdown catches. In win at West Virginia had a season-high five catches. Had three catches for 62 yards to open the season against McNeese State, including his long catch of 47 yards for a touchdown. Second TD catch came in win at UCF.
Spring report: Something must have clicked during the offseason, because this past spring Marcus has come out like a man on a mission and USFNation named him “breakout player” of the spring. He got the award for his everyday consistency. Something USF has lacked from their wide outs.
2005: He played in all 12 games of the season catching 5 passes for 110 yards with a 22 yard per catch average.
2004: Utilized redshirt season.
LAFAYETTE HIGH SCHOOL - As a senior He had 22 catches for 490 yards and eight touchdowns, and had one punt return for a touchdown, and even after missing 5 games with a broken collarbone, He was named a second team All-State in Class A. He made first team All-State Class A as a junior. He finished with 67 catches for 980 yards with 14 total touchdowns that included two punt returns and a kick return. He was state high school high jump champion (6’6”) in 2003, and also played basketball and baseball.
