| Biography: |
Former Sarasota High School star running back Mike Ford has been admitted to USF and will be eligible to participate in spring practice, with four years of eligibility starting this fall.
In 2004 Ford He was the leading rusher in the state of Florida (2,836) with thirty seven touchdowns, and was named Class 5A Player of the Year while at at Sarasota High School.
Ford signed with Alabama in 2005 but did not qualify academically. He spent last year at Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia. Ford attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Mississippi this fall but did not play football. |
