-- USF Head Coach Robert McCullum
Head Coach Robert McCullum Third Season
Head coach Robert McCullum’s blueprint for building a successful basketball program is a model developed through a wealth of experience and knowledge gained during his coaching career of nearly 25 years.
He has already demonstrated the ability to turn around one program (Western Michigan) and appears to have the University of South Florida headed down a similar path as it enters a new era of competition.
As USF prepares for its first season in the highly respected BIG EAST, McCullum’s prior career stops at quality programs in the Big Ten (Illinois), Southeastern Conference (Florida) and Big 12 (Kansas State) will no doubt aid in the Bulls’ successful transition.
McCullum’s work at USF, which enters its third season in 2005-06, mirrors that which he accomplished while re-vitalizing the fortunes of the men’s basketball team at WMU (2001-03).
