Heath, Bulls Set to Take on Pan Am Games

USF basketball coach Stan Heath and the Bulls are set to represent the USA in the upcoming Pan American Games. Coach Heath and 12 players will fly to Brazil and play in 5 games beginning on August 9. Friday Coach Heath talked with the media about the upcoming games, the teams summer progress, life without Dominique Jones and Chris Howard, the growth of the teams big men, and much more.

USF men's basketball coach Stan Heath and the Bulls are set to represent the USA and compete in the upcoming Pan American Games. Coach Heath and 12 players will fly to Brazil this weekend and will play in 5 games beginning on August 9.

The Bulls will take 12 players wearing Team USA uniforms to Brazil to play in five international games using FIBA rules. USF's first game will be on August 9. The eight-team event will be played in Salvador, Brazil. Currently seven of the eight teams have confirmed their participation, including USF, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, U.S. Virgin Islands, Netherlands Antilles and Uruguay
