Report: Leavitt Gone!

The South Florida Bulls have just fired Head Coach Jim Leavitt, the only coach it has ever had.

The USF Head football coach Jim Leavitt', the Bulls only coach since the teams inception is reportedly gone. Multiple sources have confirmed that Leavitt was told this morning by school officials that he will not return.

Leavitt has been under investigation since Dec. 15 for an incident with sophomore walk-on Joel Miller. The alleged incident, in which Leavitt reportedly grabbed Miller by the throat and struck him twice in the face, happened Nov. 21 at halftime of the USF-Louisville game at Raymond James Stadium

Leavitt was 95-47 at South Florida, including a 17-18 mark in the Big East. He had just finished the second year of a seven-year contract worth $12.6 million

The University of South Florida is expected to release it's report findings of the investigation later today.
