USF Ranked 17 in AP & 18 in Coaches Polls

The 5-0 South Florida Bulls have cracked the Top 25 for the first time this season, entering in at No. 23 in the Associated Press poll and No. 24 in the coaches' poll.

One week after beating FSU 17-7 the South Florida Bulls won on the road at Syracuse 34-20, and the 5-0 South Florida Bulls have cracked the Top 25 for the first time this season, entering in at No. 23 in the Associated Press poll and No. 24 in the coaches' poll.

USF QB B.J. Daniels threw 2 TD’s to receiver Carlton Mitchell of 33 and 85 yards, Mike Ford ran for 2 more, and the Bulls used a solid defensive effort forcing seven turnovers, as the Bulls improve won 34-20 win over the Orange.

The Bulls have been ranked in 20 of the last 39 polls, including being ranked for nine weeks in 2007 and being ranked for 10 weeks in 2008.

The Bulls have a bye week and then face the Cincinnati Bearcats in front of a national televised game on ESPN in 11 days at Raymond James Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
