Bulls head Coach Jim Leavitt has announced that running back Mike Ford will not play in the first two games of the season for a violation of team rules.

Monday morning USF Head coach Jim Leavitt sent out a release saying that USF junior running back Mike Ford will not play in the first two games of the season for a violation of team rules.

No additional information or comment was provided in the release as to why, and no additional comments from the coaching staff are expected.

Also, there was no additional information provided on running back Jamar Taylor who suffered a knee injury this weekend and was going in for tests today.

Ford was at the Bulls annual Fan fest Saturday and was in a great mood talking to the fans and to the media, and in an interview with USFN talked about the progress he made this off-season in the weight room and in the classroom.
