JUCO All-American LB Williams Chooses Bulls

The USF staff got great news Wednesday, when JUCO All-American linebacker Jacquian Williams of Fort Scott Community College gave a verbal commitment to play for USF.

Wednesday the Bulls found out that they landed one of the top linebackers on the board when JUCO All-American linebacker Jacquian Williams of Fort Scott Community College gave a verbal commitment to play for USF

Jaquian chose the Bulls over offers from Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Kansas State, UAB, and UCF. He visited USF in December and was hosted by USF linebacker Tyrone McKenzie who was also a teammate at Riverview High school.

Williams (6'3-225) was named a 2008 NJCC 1st team All-American after recording 72 total tackles, 12 for a loss, 1 interception and a forced fumble. Williams was also named the KJCCC Defensive Players of the Week after recording 8 Solo Tackles, 3 Assisted, 1 for a loss, an Int, plus an 5 Solo Tackles on Special Teams and helping lead Ft. Scott to the 1st Shut-out of Coffeyville Community College since 1998. As a freshman Williams had recorded 60 tackles and 11 for a loss.
