The best athletes in high school usually play quarterback, and that's the case with Victor Marc from Hallandale HS. Find out when the Bulls offered him, if he's got a favorite and what makes him such a sought after prospect. Only on USFNation.com!
Nearly every player the
South Florida
staff offers can play multiple positions. That’s why they were impressed with
Victor Marc
of Hallandale high school. The 5-foot-10, 200 pound ATH can play on either side of the ball at a number of positions.
“I can play quarterback, corner, running back, anywhere really.”
Marc’s main position is quarterback, where he is a self-described playmaker.
“That’s what I do – I make plays!” Adding, “My coach puts me in there to make plays and take over the game. I also know how to handle the team and keep up with what’s going on, like down and distance. That type of stuff.”
On the next level Victor says playing QB would be ideal, but not a must.
“Sure I’d like to play quarterback, but I’m open to switching. If the staff thinks I’m more useful somewhere else I got no problem with it.”
The Bulls offered Marc last week and as of now are recruiting him as a quarterback. Victor was recently in Tampa for the New Level 7 on 7 tournament and says he’d like to come back for a more in-depth visit.
“I watched USF beat
West Virginia
last year, they had an excellent season. I want to take a visit and see what they’re all about.”
Already Victor has collected 11 offers, but the one school that hasn’t offered yet is his childhood favorite, the “U”.
“I don’t have a favorite, I’m taking in the offers and then I’ll narrow that down during the summer.”
In the meantime, Victor is going to come up with a camp/combine schedule within the next week or two and says there is a possibility he could be back in Tampa for the Bulls annual Senior Showcase camp this July. Stay with USFNation for more updates on Victor Marc and the rest of the 2009 recruiting class.
