USF Bulls 2008 Pro Timing Day Results

On Friday USF held a private session for their players to showcase their skills in front of over 30 pro scouts. Here are the official results from Friday's workout. Stay informed with USFNation.com,

Over 30 NFL scouts and coaches including the Buc’s Monte Kiffin attended the 2008 USF Pro timing day to further evaluate Jenkins, Williams, Moffitt and the other seniors that are hoping to make it to the next level.

Cornerback Mike Jenkins, who is a likely candidate to be the first bulls selected in the first round, did not participate in the testing portion of the day, but did work in position drills, and impressed all with his performance.

Fellow cornerback Trae Williams improved his stock and bested his 40 time of 4.53 at the NFL combine with a 4.48/ 4.53 in the 40. His 2.60 at 20, and 1.55 at the 10, were also the fastest times ran during the day. Trae also was had the best marks in the 3-cone (7.03), the shuttle (4.37), and in the 60 (11.25). His vertical increased from 29 inches to 33.

Linebacker Ben Moffitt ran 4.55 and 4.62 in the 40 yard dash. He also increased his numbers from the combine in the vertical from 32.5 to 37.5 inches, and in the broad jump, from 9'9 to 10'4 feet, and led all players participating in the two events.

Defensive tackle Richard Clebert benched 225 pounds 38 times to lead all players. Several off from his USF record of 43 reps in the fall.

Receiver Amarri Jackson did well in position drills, catching almost everything thrown to him on a windy day.

Also joining the USF seniors were former Bulls DE Jon Simmons, QB Pat Julmiste, ad Ronnie McCullough who finished at Bethune-Cookman. Former Buccaneer Frank Murphy also worked out.
