This year's Sling & Shoot 7-on-7 competition came to a conclusion on Sunday when Jefferson High School defeated Hollywood Hills in an exciting finale. Here is a summary of the championship game and a list of prospects that stood out over the weekend of football

After a long day of football under the hot sun, the championship game was played shortly after 5 pm Sunday. Jefferson earned their spot by defeating Brandon High school, while Hollywood Hills made it by beating Naples, in the semi final match ups.

Jefferson won 15 -6 on two long pass plays, one to rising junior Anthony T.O. Williams.

Some of the other exciting match ups leading up to the championship game were in the quarter finals when one of the favorites Plant lost to McIntosh of Georgia. Plant was up 19-10, but at the end Murray threw a pick (team gets 3 pts for an interception). Mc Intosh then scored and got the 2-point conversion to win 21-19, it was a heated game and words were exchanged on the side lines among some of the parents once they realized what happened.

McIntosh then lost in over time to Hollywood Hills.

Here are some the standout players and top prospects from the weekend.
