It's Official: Tyson Butler Signs LOI

Signing Day is here and USFNation.com has all the breaking news! All day we will be updating the LOI list as the recruits send them in.

USF has received a Letter of Intent from RB/CB Tyson Butler of Lake Cypress High School in Ft. Myers.

Butler rushed for 1,928 yards this season and gained nearly 8 yards per carry with 25 touchdowns. Tyson led Cypress Lake High School to a 6-5 record and a berth in the Florida state 4A playoffs this season. Tyson accumulated approximately 2,000 all-purpose yards, and has been recruited by some as a running back/athlete. Butler is capable of playing a number of positions on both sides of the ball.

"I loved everything about it, it was nice, and the campus was great. The facilities were really nice, they were the biggest one that I've seen, and they were bigger than Pitt."

"Another thing is my family and friends are basically down the block from the school so that came into play."

"I really liked coach Leavitt, I've met him before he's a cool guy, and Coach Franks is really a great guy, I feel good about both of them."

Check back later with USFNation.com as we'll have a full Q & A with Tyson after Signing Day.
