It's Official: Darren Powe Signs LOI

Signing Day is here and USFNation.com has all the breaking news! All day we will be updating the LOI list as the recruits send them in.

Bulls received a letter of intent from 6-foot-3, 235 pound defensive end Darren Powe. This year he had 65 tackles, 8 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and 15 tackles for loss, and was named All-State Class 1A First Team Defense.

“I committed to Coach Gregory back in November.” Adding, “I did it because I like the school, its D1 and in a BCS conference. I’m also good friends with Marcus Edwards."

Powe recently took his official visit to USF this past weekend.

“I loved my visit to USF, my host was Josh Smiley. We hung out, went on a boat and to the basketball game. My favorite part actually was seeing the campus and the facilities, they were really nice.”

“Darren is Built, he’s a lean 235 pounds, he’s young and has room to grow.” said HS coach Joey Pierson.” Darren is explosive and strong, he really caught on last year, and will have a tremendous career ahead of him.”

Darren Powe is fully qualified and will enroll this summer.
