On Saturday, the South Florida Bulls received huge news that Miami Jackson athlete and 4-star Quinton Flowers has re-committed to coach Willie Taggart's program.

It's been a great past few weeks for the South Florida Bulls. Willie Taggart's program picked up their first two wins of the season against UConn and Cincinnati, making them undefeated in conference play at 2-0, as well as picking up verbal commitments from the 4-star Kendall Sawyer and 2015 electrifying running back, Marquise Bryant.

On Saturday, Taggart might of snagged his biggest commitment yet with Miami Jackson quarterback Quinton Flowers being the latest to hop on the bus in Tampa Bay.

"I sat down and spoke with my family and we thought it was really close - it's not too far away from Miami," Flowers said. "Me and coach (Telly) Lockette have a great relationship as well. I choose South Florida because I felt that's the place where I need to be."

The 6-foot, 200-pound Flowers is a 4-star and is ranked the 15th best wide receiver in the country, but looks to take snaps under center at quarterback for his Bulls' career.

The dual-threat out of Miami received offers from the likes of Nebraska, Marshall, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, Texas, Mississippi, and more before selecting the Bulls.

Flowers previously committed to the Bulls earlier this summer, but that only lasted 24 hours as he reopened his recruitment the next day.

Flowers and Miami Jackson were eliminated from playoff contention by Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons in a exciting, 31-30 game. USF's newest commit threw for 250 yards on 15 of 29 attempts with one passing and rushing touchdown.

Flowers becomes the 18th commit in USF's 2014 recruiting class.
