The Orange turn on in the second half to topple the Seahawks in their home-opener for the 2012-13 season.

Syracuse got on the board first and took the early lead before Wagner gained the advantage around the 13-minute mark of the first half, going ahead 13-11.

The Orange would tie the game less than a minute later off of a steal by Trevor Cooney which set up Brandon Triche in transition.

Two made free throws from the charity stripe by C.J. Fair would give Syracuse the lead back for good. The Orange extended their 13-point halftime lead to more than a 30-point advantage in the second half.

Newcomers Trevor Cooney, DaJuan Coleman, and Jerami Grant all contributed to the team’s big win in their home-opener before head coach Jim Boeheim decided to clear the bench.

The Orange are victorious in the Carrier Dome by the final score of 88-57.
