Landing a top quarterback in 2013 was a top priority for the staff, and on Friday the Bulls found their man when Winter Park's 4-star QB Asiantii Woulard recommitted to USF.
"I'll be playing by college ball at the University of South Florida," Woulard announced live on 1010 AM radio "It's the right fit, its perfect!"
The 6'4, 202 pound dual-threat quarterback was the Bulls top quarterback prospect on the board and was first offered by USF, but since has received more than 15 offers from Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Wake Forest, Boston College, Syracuse, Memphis, Temple, Indiana, Syracuse, Duke, UCF, FIU, FAU, and FAMU.
"I'm really excited," said Woulard. "I talked with my mother my father, and my coach and everybody thinks I made a great decision."
The 4-star quarterback, rated the 24th best in the country by Scout previously talked to USFNation.com about what kept USF at the top of his list.
"They're young and don't have much depth at the quarterback position. They're also close to home, I wouldn't have to make much of an adjustment, and I already have a good relationship with the coaches."
As a junior, Woulard turned heads passing for over 1,600 yards and 15 touchdowns while rushing for 600 yards and adding nine scores his first season at the helm. This off season Woulard improved his game and had a fantastic spring tour, really putting his name on the map during 7-on-7's.
He also made his case as being one of the State's top quarterback prospects, while showcasing his talent at the Nike Football Training Camp, where he was named the top quarterback at the event.
