Michael Pierre, a 5’11, 205 pound JUCO RB at Golden West College in California took a trip to check out what USF has to offer, & committed to Coach Holtz on Sunday.
"The visit went great," said Pierre. "Coach Holtz offered me a scholarship, I committed, and I'm a Bull!"
"I loved everything about the visit, the campus, the facilities were just great," said Pierre. "I also got a great vibe form the players and the coaching staff."
The 5-foot-11, 205 pound prospect was Golden West’s leading rusher as a freshman with 420 yards rushing and three touchdowns on just 84 attempts. During his sophomore campaign Pierre rushed for 780 yards and scored 6 touchdowns and was a Southern California Football Conference second team selection.
At the JCFootball.com SoCal combine Pierre showed his athleticism, posting a 4.4 -40 yard dash, a 4.12 agility shuttle and also had a 32 inch vertical.
