Bull’s linebacker DeDe Lattimore earned a spot on the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for his performance against Rutgers on Monday.
This was the sophomore linebacker’s best games of his USF career finishing with 11 tackles, including 3 tackles for loss, both career highs. He also recorded 2.5 sacks and his impact was felt all game long.
The USF defense showed up in a big way against Rutgers, putting constant pressure on the Scarlet Knights and Lattimore led the charge as the Bulls tallied 11 tackles for loss in Saturday's game, and held Rutgers without an offensive touchdown until the final 1:08 minute remaining in the 17-20 overtime loss.
Lattimore leads the Bulls with 61 total tackles, is tied for the team lead with 4.5 sacks, and is second on the team with nine tackles for a loss, and to go with his 1 interception, 2 pass break-ups, 1 forced fumble and 2 fumbles recovered.
