The USF filled another piece of the puzzle when Darrell Williams, a 6-foot-5, 245 pound offensive lineman from Evans high school, FL decided to end his recruitment and chose to play for USF.

"Yes sir I committed to USF," said Williams. "I feel that they are the school for me, and I'm happy that I finally made my decision."

The Evans High standout offensive tackle, a four year player for the Trojans was one of the top prospects in Florida and was ranked No. 75 offensive tackle in the country.

"I chose USF because built a relationship with the coaches and really liked the campus, and it's close to home."

The 3-star prospect had plenty of offers including ones from Florida State, Ole Miss, North Carolina State, South Carolina, Colorado State, Florida International, and Central Florida, but in the end chose the Bulls over Florida State, South Carolina, and NC State,

"USF was one of the first schools that contacted me and they were like the third school to offer me," said Williams. "I went to their Junior Day, and was impressed by their facilities and talked to some of the other guys who went there they said they liked it."

Williams joins Boone offensive tackle Max Lang, Baldwin County OL Boo Simon, Lake Region OL Thor Jozwiak, and Wellington OL Brynjar Gudmundsson as Bulls' 2011 commitments to make up a very solid offensive line class.
