The Monday after the Bulls 28-27 win over Rutgers, a trio of Bulls earned BIG EAST honors. The Conference named USF linebacker Jacquian Williams the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week, kicker Maikon Bonani earned Special Teams Player of the Week, and RB Mo Plancher was named to the weekly honor roll for their performance in the Bulls 28-27 win over Rutgers. Louisville running back Jeremy Wright was named offensive player for the week ending Nov. 6.
USF senior linebacker Jacquian Williams was named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week for the first time of his career after a game and career highs of 11 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks to help USF to a 28-27 win against Rutgers. Williams assisted on a third-quarter sack that backed the Scarlet Knights to their own 7-yard line in a drive that ended in a safety. Late in the game, Williams came up with a huge sack on fourth down when Rutgers threatened to score the go-ahead points in the final four minutes while in USF territory.
Bulls’ kicker Maikon Bonani was named BIG EAST Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time in his career after he scored nine points and was perfect on five placements to help USF in the win against Rutgers. Bonani made field goals from 47 and 21 yards, improving to 8-for-9 on field goal attempts since taking over as the Bulls’ regular placekicker for Eric Schwartz.. Bonani, who sat out last year after being injured in a fall the summer before, is now 5 of 5 on the season.
Senior RB Mo Plancher had his most productive performance with 180 total yards, , rushed for a career-high 135 yards on 21 carries, and set several career highs; rushing yards (135), receiving yards (45) and all-purpose yards (180) in the win against Rutgers. He lost a fumble in the end zone trying to score from 2 yards out, but it was recovered by teammate Jacob Sims for the decisive score in USF's one-point win.
Wright was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career. Stepping in for an injured Bilal Powell, Wright rushed for a career-high 98 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries to help the Cardinals to a 28-20 win at Syracuse. Wright put the Cardinals on the board with a 28-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and he gave Louisville the lead for good with a 12-yard TD run in the third quarter.

Moise Plancher, RB, USF — Had career highs in carries (21), rushing yards (135), receiving yards (45) and all-purpose yards (180) in a 28-27 win against Rutgers.
Delone Carter, RB, Syracuse — Rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries in a 28-20 loss to Louisville. Moved into fifth place on Syracuse’s career rushing chart (2,724 yards).
Ross Krautman, K, Syracuse — Scored eight points and was perfect on four placements in a 28-20 loss to Louisville.
Derrell Smith, LB, Syracuse — Had 12 tackles and a forced fumble in a 28-20 loss to Louisville.
